•March 7, 2010 • 1 Comment

UPDATE: Sack-O-Skulls is now available. don’t sleep! Almost sold out already.
Check them out here: http://www.merchline.com/brianmorris/productdisplay.10425.p.htm

A little while back, Jamungo Toys released the BUD series 3 vinyl toys. There are a lot of awesome figures in the series, but none so rare as the figure I designed for the series. My design was selected as the ‘chase’… that is the figure that is the hardest to find… You’d literally have to open 100 packages to stumble across 1 of these figures.
I’m going to make getting one a hellvalot easier for you.

SACK-O-SKULLS!

I’ve signed 30 of my chase figures and am going to be making them available in my store. To sweeten the deal, each of these will include an ORIGINAL sketch. Each sketch is unique, no two alike. I’ve even thrown in a vinyl mini-skull sticker.

UPDATE: These will be available Thursday, March 11th at Noon Eastern.

Here are a couple sample Sack-O-Skulls. Remember all 30 sketches are different… and no, sorry you can’t pick your sketch. Click the thumbnails for a larger images.

This first colorway is called “Imperial” and is now available at rotofugi.com. It’s been a long time coming, I’m stoked to see him finally available. Of all the projects I’ve worked on this past year, this has to be my favorite. Big ups to Chris Ryniak, Kirby Kerr & Joe Sommers for making it happen.

Take a Dredge home today.

I Want Your Skull is BACK!

•January 3, 2010 • Leave a Comment

As some of you know, I Want Your Skull was down for a bit. Over 500 pages of skull art and artists was lost by the site’s host. A huge loss to all of us to say the least. I’m happy to report that Ryan (the sole dude that runs the site and zine) has got the site back up, and is adding new content on the daily. He’s working to restore as much as he can, but focusing on the future. IWYS issue 8 is in the works… I know I’m looking forward to it.

I owe a lot to Ryan and IWYS. He’s been a HUGE supporter of me over the years. The exposure that IWYS has given me and other up and coming artists can’t be measured. I know I’ve gotten a couple of illustration gigs because of the zine.

Happy to see it back and moving forward. Check it often.

Talk about timing

Glad I took the dart out yesterday… We got our first little snowfall last night.

Putting the toys away.

•December 6, 2009 • 1 Comment

Sad to say that it’s that time of year… Snow is coming, Salt on the roads, Ice and shitty drivers. So it’s time to put the toy cars way… Pull the batteries, check tire pressure and pour in fuel additive for a long winter rest. While tooling around in the Dart one last time, I realized that I didn’t have any decent pictures of her. Heck, aside from a few mentions on twitter and facebook, I hadn’t even properly introduced her to the world at large.

Say Hello.

I found her on eBay, outta Georgia. And yeah she’s a real Southern hotrod… 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger.  The previous owner installed a big cam, big carb, headers, glasspacks and a bunch of other speed parts on the rebuild 318 v8. Unfortunately he also fucked up the transmission, and neglected the fuel and brake systems. All is well now – Just as reliable as the day she rolled off the line.

It’s going to be a couple months before she sees the road again. But that’s Ok. She’s got the caddy to keep her company in the garage.
